In the fourth quarter of 2023, the investing and financial management app category saw varied performance across top applications on the Android platform in the United States. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, highlights the download numbers and weekly active users for these apps, offering insight into consumer behavior and app popularity.

Schwab Mobile, despite not generating revenue, maintained a steady flow of downloads starting at 16K in the last week of September and peaking at 38K in the first week of October. Weekly active users saw a peak of 463K in early October, with a slight dip toward the end of the quarter, stabilizing at 439K.

Robinhood: Stocks & Crypto also reported zero revenue but exhibited consistent download numbers, ranging from 18K to 23K by the year's end. Active users remained robust, starting at 1.6M and reaching a high of 1.7M in late October and early December.

Crypto.com-Buy Bitcoin,ETH,SOL downloads fluctuated, beginning at 14K and hitting a high of 26K in mid-November. The weekly active users for the app demonstrated significant growth, jumping from 213K to a notable 404K in the first week of December.

Empower® saw its downloads surge from 11K to a high of 35K in late October. Its active users followed a similar upward trajectory, starting at 62K and reaching 89K in the same period, before leveling out at 70K by the quarter's end.

Lastly, Coinbase: Buy Bitcoin & Ether experienced a download increase from 17K to an impressive 35K in the final week of December. The app's active users saw a peak at 854K in early December, a substantial rise from the 508K at the quarter's start.
